Get the waterbed and lava lamp! :bleh:

If you do get a waterbed, remember one thing: before you moveit, drain it.

I heard what might be an urban legend about a woman who could not be bothered to remove the water. She simply rolled the full bladder along the floor; until, she finally got to the top of the stairs. She then gave it a shove, and watched it roll down the stairs. It surged down the steps and continued along the ground floor to the front wall of her home. As it weighed about a tonne and was filled with an incompressible fluid, going down the stairs easily imbued it with enough momentum to go through the wall and out into the yard.

Oh, and they also hinted that they could give away some electronic goodies (Wii anyone?).

If they are as budget-restricted as you say, I wouldn't count on that.

If I were you, I wouldn't count on _anything_ - if only to avoid any possible disappointment shoul the "goodies" turn out to be an antiquated gramophone and a NES.

Better jusk ask what was it exactly that they meant.

That would be shame actually, since I already have both LP-player and NES in my room.

EDIT: But yeah, I'l ask them

As for not getting your hopes up, and then dashed, G. K. Chesterton had something to say about appreciating what you get:

'If we got what we deserved, we would all have a short, miserable existence followed by eternal damnation.'

Every day you wake up is a good one.

Forget the NES, I would be thankful for an Atari 2600, with the whole passel of games.
