Still got ringing ears from yesterday's bands (that last band did the most... huge feedback during the soundchecks, and basically retro-electro with a girl screaming at the top of her lungs into the microphone) and decided to make it a calm day after the past two days, playing some games on the comp (Civ III currently) and reading some (Nightwatch and Fatu Hiva)

Well I was at home yesterday because the party was in my house

One of the best things of these kind of parties is the stuff that remains: 1/2 bottle of tequilla, some wodka, beer and chips. It pays to be cheap

Another explanation would be that the Dutch spelling of 'vodka' is 'wodka'.

Hangovers... drink lots of bubbly water (cause REAL men drink bubbly water), some stuff like bread, potatoes, etc, and maybe a few raw eggs. You'll be up and running in no time

Didn't know wodka was the Dutch spelling of wodka... I always thought both wodka and vodka were correct, but that the Russians used wodka, or something like that.

My day life is dominated by the hangover.

I spent every night of grade 10 sloshed, you learn to deal with them real quick. Thanks for the tips and stuff though. I stick with the water and protein approach. ...oh, and lots of sleep. Like, sleep until 5 pm kind of sleep (considering I can't fall asleep until around 9 am, regardless of my blood/alcohol level).
