![]() I remember playing a similar game several years before 1991, so this is not the first game of it's type. The game I used to play had lousy graphics (my monitor was just black & green) and was even more basic than this one (e.g. no bikes, just lines). Unforunately, I can't remember it's name. If anyone remembers, please let me know what the game was called. :wallbash:

![]() There is a game called Armagetron Advanced & the game called Tron.
Those two games are smillar to this one and smillar to each other. You can download Armagetron Advanced from: http://www.armagetronad.net/ It is somewhat addictive and it features an online multiplayer. I am playing it. There are many online game modes: CTF (Capture The Flag), Fortress, Sumo, Dogfight (same mode like in this game) and others. You also have a certain amount of rubber which regenerates over time. If your rubber is 0, then you are core dumped (dead). Not really a bad game, exept the fact that the first time you join an online multiplayer, you will be dead (core dumped) very fast because online players are mostly professionals. There is also a forum about Armagetron Advanced: http://forums.armagetronad.net/ Every game mode is diffrent, so, you will have to learn them all. There are some similarities. That game is not made for DOS, so it will not run in DOS envoirement, but it will run on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. Also, anyone can host a game on net by downloading only a game, but that server will shut down when you exit from a game. You can also download dedicated server packages, binaries (whatever), which can be used on for hosting a game for as long as your computer is online and on. There are also much mods for this game, including moviepacks, textures, walls, etc. |
