I was too anxious to see what you guys would think of the ufo. if you want, I'll take out the white later, but not now. It's not that hard, you know.

The UFO is fine, it's the grass that's off, but no use going back now, it'd ruin the point of the Exquisite Corpse. Hope nobody minds my rather abundant additions, I got a bit carried away.

here was the version I was working on when I noticed Indignus had already posted a new version:

How do guys use the textures for the ground? How do you do that, cause its really cool.

Edit: I also think the textures on the lower slopes of the mountains looks like regurgitated cow cud. Maybe somebody can get an aerial photo of some nice evergreen forests so we can use that instead.

That would ruin the point of this project, wouldn't it?
The only thing we can do is try to smooth the transition between the ground and the mountain.

Oops. Sorry about that comment: I forgot about the "no copying over" rule.

Yeah. Well, stroggy, u r the graphics expert. Perhaps you can fix it.

I added a little bit more: filled in the white spaces best I could. I hope Deathspark doesnt mind (is it against the rules?) I beefed up the yellow grass a bit. I didnt touch his grass, but just added more.

Come on people! You lost the postcount in the blah blah blah section, so why not participate here in the art forum!?

is it against the rules?
Not at all.

The rules are simple: you my modify everything, change everything, but you may not delete the changes others have made.

I don't, I find a nice texture and import it in photoshop, then I erase away the parts I don't need. I also use a bit of layer work... which is difficult to explain if you've never used photoshop or paint shop pro.

I don't get it, could you explain in detail? I really would like to learn how to do that.

I don't think this is a good place for it... hey maybe we should have a thread where we share techniques?
