Also what are you supposed to do in the blue squares that open up in some speech? And why are some words underlined in red?
Again, it's been quite a while so I don't remember the exact thing, but in the blue dialog box, you are supposed to type something. For example, in the beginning of the game, you need to get some money from the male servant (forget his name). So you need to type "coin" or something like that in that blue dialog box.

The underlined words work like a hyperlink, I think. You can click on them to get the next dialog.

Check out the walkthrough link I posted in the previous page if you're still stuck and don't mind consulting it. Have fun playing!

Anyone know the third item of evidence when catching the real murderer? The magistrate accepts the empty wine bottle and parsley, but torn shirt seems of no use. Walkthrough doesn't help...

Thanks a bunch!

Strange, when I played the game back then, I followed the walkthrough and it all worked out fine for me.

Quote:
Talk to the Magistrate, go to the gravedigger, pick up the parsley and the shovel from the garden behind the gravedigger's house. Pick up the empty fine-wine bottle and the torn shirt from his bedroom. Go to the village, ask* the apothecary about "PARSLEY". Go to the bar, and you will get the location of the crossroads and the lakeshore. Go back to the other village, talk to the magistrate. The gravedigger will be hanged.
I haven't been able to find another walkthrough other than that one.

I've tried VDM Sound installed on XP...didn't work. :help: I figure out why it didn't work there is no music or sound folder!? I could be wrong I think.

At least I LOVE this game! k:
