Have you tried The Great Escape 2003? It restricts the number of savegames and that makes it more challeging. You can't just save at every simple thing you do because for every mission you have only 4 saves availabe. You will think twice before saving, asking yourself: Was that part really so hard? How much more untill the end of the game? Do I loose a lot if I have to replay the mission up to this part?

It's a great adventure game well worth playing and like I said the limited savegames make it all the more interesting.

Thanks, I Haven't seen that game and it looks interesting so I will have to keep an eye out for it, although as per my current stack of games to play it may not be required for some time . I suppose the limited time thing also has some bearing on my irritation with some of the over chalenging parts in games !

The hardest time I've ever had was with an arcade game... Robotron 2084. I hit 5 million+ points (or was it 500,000? I forget the point scaling. It went through all 255 waves and flipped over to level 1 so 5 million seems right.) After what seemed like over an hour of constant play my wrist was in such pain that I seriously thought I would need surgery afterwards. :wallbash: That was a demanding game for sure..

Made the high-score list though!

I never finished Super mario i didnt know how to get to the last boss. I got lost in the castle. And now on youtube i see people finishing the game in 5 minutes! man do i feel stupid.

I remember one summer vacation when I was a kid. I stayed up all night for the first time in my life trying to beat Ninja Gaiden for the NES. I got to the last boss but, to this day, never beat it.

Also, I remember the Mike Tyson fight in Punch Out. Me and my friends would sit around taking turn to get to him, then just sit in shame, jaws hanging open, when we would get knocked out 30 seconds into Round 1. I did beat him eventually though. That bastard...
