Since when do we have monthly ESA periods?

Dungeon Keeper Gold can be shaped to around 75MB but if you don't shape Dungeon Keeper efficiently it is around 100MB.

Since we know the month of the game's release.

The protection period is exact - it's therefore only when we don't know the month that a game is classified as AW on January 1st of the next year. :brain:

[assuming]You[/assuming] changed the lower topic to "expires august" doest that mean we still won't know if they claim copyright on Dungeon Keeper and is they will sell heaps of left-over CDs?

Indeed, it was me who included the expiry date in the tag.
We have no way of predicting whether a company will re-release a game or not, but as far as I can tell it's not sold at the moment.

When I talked with Tom about exact protection periods for games with known release dates, he said that we shouldn't do that to not complicate the matter. But... that was shortly after the successful negotiations on the ESA incident, so... forget my question.
