That screenshot was all it took; I need to get Morrowind again.

Is that a misplaced dwarf? Or a real dwemer?

I agree with most of what CrybKeeper says. And I will add that half of the fun in Morrowind is exploring the land and get crazy with side quests. If you play it straight through the main quest, you could possibly finish it in a short time. But that isn't the way it's meant to be played (damn nVidia! ).

I love Morrowind, and Tribunal was a great expansion. I didn't like Bloodmoon too much, but it was ok. At least, it didn't have those damned cliff racers Annoying critters...

Whatever you did would have good or adverse effects on the NPC's, your reputation, or quests.
All I can say is, what gets said about Morrowind, more than anything else under the sun, "If you stay with it, you will be glad you did." And, it never fails to be the wrong answer. I have played five times thru and still have things to explore and quests I never tackled.

All the armorers in game will wear the best armor you sell them. There is a mod that fixes that, linked at Bethesda forums. The Bloodmoon add on is a real treat all by itself and IMO, just as great as the main game.

That's why I am hoping to try Shivering Isles Virumor, I'll be sure to get the complete package(tomorrow's the day).

Yes I agree Kugerfang, the sleepers will eventually attack you if you talk to them enough and the main quest has progressed enough to trigger their reactions. Try not to kill them and you gain fame for saving them later on. There's a sleeper in almost every town and sometimes more than one. Think of the Sleepers as possessed through dreams and not of their own will. I like zombies, so I hated to hurt the poor devils.

Once you really get into Morrowind Wolf Thug, you get an option to build a fortress of your own and fill it with nice things you have collected.

Or, you can waste time levitating while stacking those items into walls and shelves, etc. Once I had 99 of every misc. object in game, I decided to use them to build my own fortress. I also built an entire room out of white pillows. It's tough to accomplish, since once you have 99 of any items, the game will crash. I also collected skulls and placed them all around my front door and put black candles on their heads. Books can create a vaulted roof, but it's a tedious task to get them right, while levitating and it still rains inside your house anyway.

Tribunal quests are so fun, great creativity from Bethesda.
I liked Bloodmoon as well mainly because of The Hunter.

You're totaly right about cliff racers, I invented new curses just for them, blasted things.

After playing Fallout 3, I've found cliff racers are not too bad. At least they die quickly and are good target practice. Oblivion has actually a few cliff racer gags, notably one where it is mentioned St Jiub wiped them all out (Jiub being the Dunmer that wakes the player up in the beginning of Morrowind).

Fallout 3 has giant radscorpions that are as ubiquitous as cliff racers, but a hundred times more annoying since a) they generally pop up out of nowhere, b) they always come in pairs, c) they do NOT die quickly and can do a lot of damage

Hey, that doesn't sound good! The radscorpions weren't supposed to be that annoying! There were some geckos, at least?

Hey! Jiub was his name? It was never mentioned in Morrowind. Where did you learn that from?

Normally you should see the name of all NPCs in a text box if you hover the mouse pointer over them.

Yeah, it's true. Then... why I didn't remember that? Well, I guess because it is some random dude appearing only at the beginning of the game? Yeah, maybe it is it :embarassed:

I urgently need to play Morrowind again... here it comes my Telvanni breton

Personally I prefer Gothic 3 over Oblivion. With the latest patch the game's actually playable. Tried also Two Worlds but this game sadly combines the worst of GOthic 3 & Oblivion and throws out the best of both games.
Well, I went on a game search today, but no one in my area had the Oblivion game on hand. I had an option to special order it for an extra 6 USD, but decided to purchase it on-line later on.

However, I did see a game I had to get, even after what you said Virumor. Yep, I got Two Worlds. The guy who sold it to me, also gave it a mediocre review and he said, he thought the graphics were rather grainy, but he liked the stackable items feature. I grabbed it for a mere 20 USD, so I figured, why not give Two Worlds a go-around for that price.

He's all Dwemer El Quia. Although, the only other Dwarf alive in the game, refused to aknowledge our kinship,...so I swiftly slit his throat. Who's the now, eh? After owning Morrowind for two years, I still haven't completed the Tribunal quests. Morrowind is quite expansive and the mods make game play unlimited.
I did actually go through the whole realm, with super human skills and kill everyone I saw. It all started with some dumb-ass blocking my only exit from a pub and he wouldn't move. Rather than edit out of this with a cheat code, I just took out my frustration on him and swiftly slit his throat. It felt good to release all that anger and I proceeded to Ebonheart, where I came upon a general of great importance and I swiftly slit his throat also. After doing so, the game gives you all these forboding messages about doom and all is lost, so I just went on a murder spree until every town I came to, was left vacant

You mean the Dwarf pic? You can modify the races with the game editor plug-in. I took a Breton and created a beard for him and gave him a shorter stature and named a new race, Dwarf.

Oblivion: Piece of sh*t game. Period. Go for Daggerfall or Morrowind.
M&B: Shallow and boring to the extreme after you have finished gawking at the battle scenes.
