Eagle, be nice. Or I'm spraying this thread with so much oestrogen that there'll be little pink bows on everyone's you-know-what, k?

What make you think I'm not nice exactly? The fact that I said that I was sorry?

A crash as in "Firefox quits". At the beginning, the Mozilla Crash Reporter (you can google for screenshots etc.) popped up, giving the options to quit or restart. By now, the FF process just quits without a notice. And as bad as a website can be programmed, a browser doesn't has to quit because of it - why do we have response time limitations and error handling? As much as I hate IE, it never crashed in the few years I used it.

Yeah, I have to say, following FF tickets that have been raised is pretty depressing.

I still use it though because I'm a slave to my particular plugins

Actually, old IE (IE6, I think) that shipped with Windows installation don't like newest Flash, and often crashed on page with it.

But yes, it was fixed in IE7 and later.

These were windowses WITHOUT Mediaplayer, because Microsoft had been penalized for it's monopoly on it.

What's not included in N editions of Windows 7?

I had to upgrade from FF1 to FF3 because it crashed on more and more sites. Now it's the same thing with FF4. If I was paranoid, I would think Mozilla is making that to force me into the newest version.
