id just like to give the other side of the argument, that if you set up DOSBOX right, (using d-fend is easiest) you can get it so that noone would be able to tell the difference between it and a real DOS p.c for a lot of games.. especially the more common ones.

unless having a TERRIBLE fuzzy graphics card is what people are talking about. maybe dosbox needs a "fuzzy old cirrus logic 1mb" graphics card filter effect

yeah but what you 'feel' is completely subjective. its not a solid reason!
its the same thing that the audio freaks say when they claim one copper speaker wire sounds so much better than another. its their expectation influencing what they think they hear, or feel. they hear what they expect to hear. even though theres no scientific basis for what they believe.

Okay, next problem!?!?!?
I dl'd a bunch of games at a net cafe, +-20. When I got home my sys could only read 1 of the disks. Now that was frustrating. Also, they were brand new disk that I bought the same day. It cannot copy the files for some reason.?

I have installed win95 on more than one occasion on a 386 with 4MB of ram and 161 meg's of disk (without cdrom). I used NC and a null modem cable tot transfer the installation files... And then stripping them from non esentials.... I admit not very prety, but it CAN be done.

I see no reason why you should. Win 3.1 or 3.11 eith win32s will do also for running 32bit programs.

Okay, yes it's me again with another question. How can I clean up my drive without formating it. Just to remind you that I am on win 3.1?
