Did Jayasuriya retire?

If he did it's a shame he couldn't come to Australia one last time, loved watching him bat.

http://www.czabe.com/backup/November%2016/bushkasi.htm

"THE EQUIPMENT: is a short raw hide whip which is usually held between their teeth when not in use to slash out at other players and their horses. It is a vicious weapon that will slice the skin open as easily as a scalpel."

"You see, there are no boundaries to the game. Because of this, there are times when the players completely disappear. I have known them to be gone for over an hour as they romped over the hills, cruised down the main street of town - totally destroying shops and their wares - trampled a poor farmer's crop, hurricaned an innocent bystander's house, and desolated an area the size of Maumee, Ohio."

Wow. What a great "sport".

Oh, it's not a promotion, I find the whole thing hilarious. I didn't think things like this happened outside of the freaking Dark Ages. ...but a whole national sport revolving around carcass dragging and murdering participants and spectators? Man...

Not 'running' on the list? Does cricket, gold and boat racing outown running? I mean, it is one of the most (not to mention free!) practised sports in the world!
Luckily, badminton was on the list so I could vote for that one as well.

Cool

No Jayasuriya Didnt. He was dropped back by the Selectors because of his poor performances last few games.

But Sri Lanka dont need Jayasuriya to win the VB series. Already won against SA. Sri Lanka's back in the Game. k:
