and i think you should know that you shouldn't trade good stuff for HR's with anyone.especially with "midgets" as we call them... lvl 1 chars

for high runes you must do pindle runs. i only got an um ...but meh.. it was worth it.

Completely wrong. It's still great for a Summoner, and just as good for a boner with revives. There aren't better boots for necro than these, except maybe Silkweave for boner for their 10% max mana bonus and +5 mana after each kill. Even without the charges bug they're still pretty useful.

High runes are easy to get, with some effort though. Just get a sorc in Classic, play with her for a while to gather good stuff for her and to get to hell, then create characters and rush them with the sorc to hell. Without baalruns even lvl 1 characters will be quickly in hell that way. Convert those lvl 1 chars to LoD once they're in Act 3 Hell and do the hellforge quest in act 4. With some luck you'll get Um-Gul rune. All you need is some patience + time, and to be able to run Diablo 2 more than one time simultaneously, which is pretty easy to do. One char waits in game, other char rushes him. Voila.

Zod is the highest rune there is, it's the rarest one.

It's an official name in closed Battle-Net for Necro who uses Bone Spear / Bone Spirit as his main attack, dude <_<

Anyhoo, my last chance of getting some nice low-to-mid runes is the Countess. Since it's not that hard to kill her even in hell. And if she drops a Key, well then - things will get even better. Altho with my 1.5K BSpear damage - even act1 Hell sucks bigtime. Good thing is that I got a handy mountain companion along with me, so using BSpear on enemies from a safe distance is made easier.
I don't understand this:

Teeth lvl 25 over
BSpear lvl 32
BSpirit lvl 30
BoneWall lvl 11

With all these skillpts I only do 1.5K damage? Bleh. Smiters do 10K over and a Sorc I know does 28K, the hell is with the math of my skills???? :wallbash:
