I'd have to say drowning or suffocating as the way of death I fear most, it's just the thought of being trapped underwater and not being able to do anything about it, and the more I kick and flail around the quicker death will come. I also fear getting old, not just middle aged, but really old when you can't remember where you live or control your bladder, it just makes me think that I can never see everything the world has to offer.

Actually, drowning is said to be the "best" way of dying. Few seconds before you actually die, when the lungs are filled with water, you feel good. It's the same feeling as you feel when you're a foster, in the womb. That's why babies cry when they are born, they miss the water in the lungs. And that's why people who are drowning get "upset" when people rescue them. It can actually be dangerous saving a person from drowning, the person gets crazy.

The worst is to know that you are going to die withing the next minute of your life and not being able to get out of it, such as falling off a cliff. That for me would be worse than any amount of pain.

That would be another example of knowing you're going to die but can't do nothing about it. Freaks me out just thinking about being in a situation like that.
