No. Don't ask again.

Yes, pressing spacebar will remove autoattack during combat, as long as you can get it in before they kill everything. I would slow down combat from the options in game, then speed em up again when you are done fixing them k:

Hello, i got some questions:
(my english is not the best
)

1. when the copy protections asks me some words from the journal, everything is okay, but when he asks me words from the rulebook i alwas have to pass Because i dont know when the rulebook started in the journal. for example they asked me for the 6th word after the heading "spells". SO i looked all through the journy and found spells on page 48 but he dindt accept the 6th word "improved". i tried surch another manual on replacementdocs.com but the lionk for CoK isnt actual..
Does anyone knows help?

2. years ago i played the amiga version where was very funny sound effects but here is only pc speaker and i didnt find a souncard config. So how cain i get the advanced sounds? (magic sounds,hiting sounds etc.)

Hmm - it might be "friendly" (I'm not sure the subtitle counts), it could also be "Bless" (if you count Spells as the first word).

my problem is, that i ever dont know teh answer when CoK aks me a word from the "rulebook" where does it start??? Because i am always lookibng throught the whole joural from abandonia but didnt find anything.

"rulebook" and "adventure journal" are different.
"rulebook" questions only appeared when I tried to save outside the hall.
"IN" and "TO" were the first words I was asked from there, and "begin" after the heading beginning ....

About sounds:
If you delete the .cfg file you can reselect the options.
But I'm also only getting the intro music, combat is handled with PC speakers.
You can try to play the game on an Amiga emulator like WinUAE if you want to get the Amiga sounds.

BTW: What party do play the game with ? (Just being curious)

Both files are there... not that they are as useful as the actual manual that I have...

I can send people the floppy for this game if you want to reinstall it with the original files. Gotta mount the folder as A: and floppy though with dos-box anyway...

If I had the time for it I would make a pdf of the manual.

many peoples wanted to know which party to play, i am not sure if my party is good, bu i will post it:

Warning, elves go splat. They don't come back. Any character that dies loses 1 constitution, so don't die anyway.

There is a level cap, but not really a xp cap in this game. So if that character can get to that level, it will eventually. No point in having single class characters, unless they are knights.

Turn your Fighter/thief into a kender. You'll notice the difference once you've found the lovely hoopak +2.

The dwarven cleric works better as a fighter cleric, because the bonus thaco from being Reorx stacks with the fighter thaco.

Mages in this game can cast spells while wearing armor, and use long swords and slings. Redmages are great, but don't have a single class mage unless you really, really want to get those spells quickly.

Tri classes work well as well, so don't be sheepish and let every fight!
