I played the whole game with a walkthrough downloaded at http://www.dlh.net and I think I did not make any mistakes. Maybe I have to restart the game...

Game loads fine to title screen then closes at click/enter. So unable to actually start game. Anyone have any ideas why this is, have played many games w/ dosbox last being indiana jones & fate of atlantis which worked great sound and all.

Ok so I messed w/ the conf file so it stopped closing and the message reads "exit to error: an unsupported feature" But also if i choose the no sound option it will run but w/out sound is there anyway to get the best of both worlds the game and the sound?

Can anyone give me a hint (uhs-hint style) on getting the "That it is the bird in the cuckoo cluck
And have met the photographer who wants it

What should I be leaning towards doing now?

I tried the alarm clock, and it doesn't work.

Am I using the wrong object, or do I need to solve another puzzle first?

I'm also having a mouse problem - it locks in the dosbox window and turns into the game cursor, but it doesn't do anything when I click - I can move the cursor with the mouse and the arrow keys, but I can't move the character or click buttons. Hmm.

^^ Trying using the enter button instead of clicking??

Aaah! Now the mouse is working fine. I...don't know what happened. But yeah, 's workin.
