Very nifty put. In fact it sucks your money for free, since you'll be wanting to get all the shiny high runes and runewords to be not worse than all others, and there's no way to do that at first in the game itself when you have almost nothing, so you turn over to eBay.

Only losers go to eBay, in fact, anyone who buys imaginary muck over eBay pretty much deserves to die.

Of course it's easy but you'll find tons of those spamming and begging children in the channels who claim to have lost their account due to being hacked, which probably was a result of them going to a site advertised by the spambots and trying to download some sort of hack or cheat, and catching a nice Trojan in the process.
And those children who are too lazy to simply play the game and prefer to cover the channels with spam about being rushed and helped, are also usually those who either end up bying virtual items at eBay or other D2 shop site and who flaunt with their "gosu" mega-items while have no idea how to play Diablo II.
And, believe it or not, it's a big majority of such "players" in Diablo's Battle-Net.

Um, all the real players left years ago to either play mods or just leave because the majority of Battle.Net D2 players are idiots, THERE ARE NO REAL PLAYERS LEFT, I stopped playing two years ago, people forgot how to play D2, it's not about fun anymore, just uber items and numbers.

Hmm...I've been thinking about going back to D2 just to see if it's still worth playing. And I have to agree - it's not that hard getting the good stuff, once you get into trading. Easy deals can be made regularly (at least back in 1.10 when I left the game).

Well, just wait until 26th June, then Blizzard resets the current ladder and you can begin playing in the new, clean ladder free of duped Enigmas, Infinities and Phoenixes. Though that ones won't wait long to appear all over again, I'm sure... <_<

Buying Diablo 2 items on the internets = inventory full of duped items and a char damaged beyond use.

Hmm....just in time for a ladder reset, eh? Maybe I should give it a try - I just don't know if I want to risk getting too caught up in it again...a lot of life has been wasted on that game...
