![]() I actually own the windows version. And someone said the colours look glarish. If this does happen, try changing your colours to 256 colour mode. (don't complain I can't spell colour, I'm Australian, not american)

![]() No, you're quite wrong, it's *Amelicans* who can't spell 'colour'.

![]() Hi, I'm new to the site and trying my first download - except its not working. I played the orginal SimCity for years on my old compaq machine and want to show my sons what it was like (they only have the SimCity4 version as a guide to how great this game is) When I click the "get it" button to download the game, my IE tells me that it 'cannot display the page'?? Am I doing something wrong?

![]() You're not doing anything wrong.
It's just that the file server is offline and we need an admin to reset it. So. Please be patient.

![]() This game is the windows version, so no need for Dosbox in this case. In the folder you unzipped the game to, run the setup.exe. After that install the game where you want to on your computer, and then you can play it straight from windows.
I would recomend running the Setup.exe as the Administrator to get the best results. |

![]() there's a problem with loading it for me. if i tried to run the setup from the computer itself it says its not compatible. if i tried running it from DOSBox it would say that it needs microsoft windows to run it. what do i do? do i need a 64-bit thing?
