This friend of mine, the bitter one, is getting seriously on my nerves. She can't see happy couple, then she has to try to make them miserable too.

Sounds like my type of girl, can I have her number? ;D

Nah, but seriously, I'm bitter myself, but wishing bad things to other people is bad Karma and it doesn't make yourself happier anyway. So a nice Valentine's Day to you all!

what's that valentine-hating about, anyway???

i can understand people being sad about being alone. in fact, i understand them
really well! but why does this day make them feel even worse?

i mean, if you are a single, then any couple you see on the streets could make
you feel bad about yourself not having a girl-/boyfriend any day, no?

any movie or song about love could make you feel bad! so, what's the problem?
only because i have no relationship right now, there's no reason not to allow other
people who do have a partner to be happy, isn't it?

believe me, i know it's hard to watch others holding hands and kissing each other,
as long as one feels lonely!
but envying them so much that i would be annoyed by valentines day doesn't make
it really better for a me as a single.

it's only my opinion, but i really have nothing against a day, on which love is
celebrated, as long as it is not commercialized too much. and that's where i see
the problem with v-day. commercialism. besides of that, there's nothing wrong
with it, imo!

Valentines Day is in my oppinion a simple day, where you have opportunity to show someone a sign of your respect for "him". And even if you are alone, make a gift for your mom, that makes her happy, too.

Why not do that every day? Why denote one particular day when you should do it? I don't need a government appointed day of celebration to tell me when I should tell someone that I love them.

Because, I think if you do that every day, it becomes boring and loses the meaning. Agreed, only one day in year is too little for it. Once in a month would be better.

Why make it official or date it - when you feel the need to express it, do it (like Nike)
I feel the need (to express my love to Seb) - Guy's chill more than once a motnh
