I agree that Battletech had ripped off Robotech. It's SOOOOOOOOOOO obvious, even if you turn a blind eye to the veritech designs (hah!) there are still the Warhammer, Marauder and Rifleman(copied for FASA's Boardgame)! That only leaves the Battlemaster,Jenner and Locust(which are strikingly similar to the Zentraedi Battlepods in mechanics and movement... if not looks).
The original designers obviously had a flair for designing, because the Robotech models are timeless and sleek. Whereas the western designs;...well suck.(no i'm not asian). Why? Because the Robotech designs were penned by manga artists while the few original Battletech/mechwarrior designs was done by boring geeks without any artistic ability (how else could you come up with a design like the Jenner?! Come on!!)
For anyone who thinks that Robotech and Battletech designs are very different, here is an important number to write down:

Ask for the Very good optometrist who works there, she might be able to help you.
Good luck

Yeah, the quality difference is quite obvious... but we can't do anything about it.

I have dosbox 0.63 and mechwarrior works just fine. Do you have these settings in your
dosbox.conf?

fullscreen=true
fulldouble=false
fullfixed=true
fullwidth=640
fullheight=400

intelligent=false [/b][/quote]
Okay, I tried this and still got the same problem as everyone else, namely:

After my first mission, when I've crashed into the base and completed the task, the game crashes.

I have Dosbox v.0.65 and mechwarrior gives me a blank black screen when I finish a mission. I've seen what has been posted about dosbox v.0.63 but I am a newbie and don't know how to do it with v.0.65. What do I do? thanks!

Install v0.61 of DosBox. That will run Mechwarrior very well.
