I downloaded the hammer zip. Extracted all files to c:\hammer
opened dosbox typed mount c c:\hammer then typed c: then typed hammer presto worked just fine  |

Hammer of the Gods is one of the few old games without bugs.
It runs perfect on my Linux-Netbook with Dosbox. |

I get an error message when I try to start it. Somthing about download drives.

I second that. Although choosing a different race can provide a few more hours of good gaming.

Okay - this is the only game I have tried to run in dosBOX so far, so I'm not sure if I have a dosbox problem or a hammer problem.
I got the game to run fine by following this website's instructions, and it works great while minimized. problem is that when I maximize it the preformance goes to crap all of the sudden and I can hardly move the mouse, much less finish a turn. Sad part is I love this game so much (nostalgia thing) that I am about ready to just play in minimized. Haha. Hope someone can help. :woot2: |

Problem running HOTG
Hi - I read most posts and I think this is a enw problem -
the game runs great until I complete quest #24 (approximately) at which time the game quits to dos and restarts. Any suggestions? |
