Zelda has always had some vital gameplay changes, in Wind Waker, they introduced Sailing, controlling the Wind, and several unique elements such as the A button dodging and counter attacks.
Again hypocrate, introduced eating and training in the gym in GTA: San Andreas, and bunch of other stuff, hell if we look at it that way GTA:SA is full of innovation... [/b][/quote]
I believe the word you're groping for is "Hypocritical"

It's not hypocritical, because I am not comparing Nintendo's creativity with other developers.

-True Crime
-The Simpsons : Hit & Run
-State Of Emergency
-DRIV3R
-Mafia
And more!

none of them are pre GTA.

Apart from THE GATEWAY that I haven't heard before.

And none of them have the freedom and size of GTA3+, not by a long shot.
So, I don't see how GTA3+ are what you said.

We were talking about GTA clones I presume.
So that's what I listed.

Oh, and they don't have to be neccesarily exactly the same, otherwise we'd be living in one boring world.

You could even add that Wind Waker and Jet Set were about the only good cell shaded games released so far.
At least that I know of.
:bleh:
Actually, Paper Mario and all the Fairly Oddparents and Ultimate Spiderman are all cel-shaded.

Well out of all of those, only Paper Mario is good, which is what I was talking about "Good cell shaded games" Spiderman even more so is out of the question, as it has not been released.

@Efthimios: It is not "The Gateway" it is the Getaway. Here's a link.
The Getaway

No, I didn't actually.
What makes you think so?

P.S. That option was removed by the admin I think too.

The following games contained cell shading. You can make up your own mind to whether they were good or not :P

Dark Cloud 2
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2, 3, and Tenkaichi
Dragon Quest VIII
Jet Set Radio series
Killer 7
Klonoa 2
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Monster Rancher 3
Robotech: Battlecry
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne
Sly Cooper series
Tales of Symphonia
Ultimate Spider-Man
Viewtiful Joe series
XIII
Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner

Also you could argue that cell shading is a throwback or "dumbing of rendering technology" to older polygonal graphics as seen in games like Robocop 3, another world and pretty much every flight sim since the 80's
