Battletech and Macros are not games (although there is a game called battletech on this site

The Macros universe is a Japanese Anime series from the eighties. Better known in the US as Robotech.
Battletech was inspired by (the succes of) Robotech in the US. It is the universe behind the Mechwarrior and Mechcommander games.
