I'm not sure how many *sighs* and *geez*'s I've given out while reading through this topic.
I'm not even going to START talking about everything that has been said here.

There's this priest I know. His name is Bjarni. He is a priest for the National Church, which is Lutherian. He supports gay people. His cousin is a theologist.He also supports gay people. There are many people amongst the church that do so.
You see, people CAN believe in the bible, without believing
everything that says there. In my honest opinion, people that believe every single word are fukced up. They don't understand or see reality as it is.
I used to be pentacostal. They hate gay people. I remember few years ago, I was listening to a speach there, then homosexuality was much in the news and other media, because of some war over rights. I remember listening to that person going on and on about how God hated this people and they would all die and rot in hell. That's when I walked out and never came back. I still know people who are pentacostal, my aunt for example. It makes me sick listening to her screwed up opinions, sour through by the brainwashing of her group.
How can God forgive everything, yet hate homosexuals?
And about Roman-catholic church: They don't always know what's right. Admit it. They do have some ideas that are REALLY out-dated and will never work out.
Homosexuality was a natural thing years ago, you know! In ancient Greece, for example. I'm really tired right now, so I hope you forgive me if I'm not stating correctly, but I believe it was Alexander who ordered all his soldiers to shave their legs. And he was, most probably, gay. Yet he was a great ruler, and his sexuality was never a biggie.
Do you know where the word "lesbian" comes from?
There was/is an island near Greece, called Lesbos. It had a boarding school for girls on it. You can probably guess the rest.
