You know, adding multiple 386, 486 and pentium CPU's will probably not solve your speed problem.

I purchased a 2gig computer for the price of a pentium 5 years ago, and that is more than a year ago. I am sure you could buy a 4gig computer which is not worth that much. Did you go to your local computer store and see if you could simply buy a new one instead?

Purchasing a good graphic card will undoubtly help too.
