People need a scapegoat and an extremist Muslim group would be the most feared/hated thing in the Western world. People like Blair and Dubya are basically preying on the most stupid/ignorant people and also people of certain faiths that are too devout if you ask me.
This whole 'Islamic Militants' thing is basically a way of converting idiots onto the side of Bush and his chums and also an excellent way to get into territories with plentiful oil supplies - before long it'll be 'Finnish extremist groups have attack an american bus stop' just as an excuse to go to war there.
The only reason that they aren't going to start on Russia again is because Putin is an excellent leader and also has one of the world's best armies.
To be honest, the attacks on Mosques are really a cheap way to try and get Muslims riled enough to do something that would lead to an excuse to kill them all. There are a lot of stupid people in the UK and a lot of them, given the slightest reason, would exterminate anyone who can't trace their British roots back about 5 generations.
I don't see why people are pissed off with immigrants and Muslims, both of those things are good for the UK. We need more people, our birth rate is lower than our death rate, and Islam is a good religion. It's an intellectual religion and sadly a lot of people despise that.
