Actually, It comes from doctor who, the 4th incarnation. It's rather odd though, how I know of this show. It's a british tv series, that probably noone has ever watched.

the brittish are actualy quite good at making Sci-fi shows, becasue they apparently use the superior minds of the few instead of just letting anyone make shows and hoping trough rule of large nubers to get a good one once in a while (like their american counterparts do).
