No. Fortunately, the situation in Portugal is fairly better. But Christians are often labeled as ''fascists'', ''retards'', ''fanatics'' and stuff like that...in some college circles, it's forbidden to even mention that particular subject...but if you're Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist or whatever, it's all very well. Talk about being unfair!
As for the professional problem, I am soon to become an archaeologist, but our government invests so little in that particular area that many (or most) of us are condemned to unemployment or working slave hours in underpaid jobs...and to complete the scenario, tuition in my college has become 880 Euros per year...the average Portuguese salary is 600-700 Euros (!)
