Let me gues: You entered the code in the order you saw them at the wall? From left to right?
Thats what i've done and i stuck to.
I tried it in another order and it worked.
But the right order is:
1. sign is the one from the far left (at the dogs)
2. sign is the last one, shortly before you reach the console
3. sign is the one you can see at the entrance of this stage (the room with the force field)
Entering the code like this will open a door...
btw, I was so enerved by all the mines, I made them all exploding. It took some time, but it worked
