Maybe you're thinking of Larry games? Or LesManley? Early episodes had OK graphics, but you had to type the commands...
BTW: Have you tried looking through our adventure section? Zak McKracken and Maniac Mansion are both up, just like Larry series...
I doubt it's Zork - it had no graphics.
