When I was about 10, I swallowed a fish-bone and had a small piece of it pierced in my esopphagus (spelling?), it hurt like hell.
When I was 12, I was cutting my finger nails when one of them popped right out to pierce itself in my right eye for several days. It came out eventually with tears (of pain)....
I broke my collar-bone when I was 5...
..and my right pinky-toe when I was 9.
And apart from all that, just two words: menstrual cramps
