There are many games that are now being developed for both a console and a PC release. With the new generation of consoles being as powerfull as very powerfull PC's this is now possible for the first time in gaming history.
Ports of games both to or from the PC are no longer neccessary. Some examples,
TES IV: Oblivion, Alen Wake and Max Payne 3.
