That's a Phoenix and it's not cruel, he been born that way. He finds it pretty confortable too.

Well, my guy was born (nearly, he was armed and taught in it's use 2 seconds after birth) and is quite comfortable with it too. His eyes are only sad because he just found out that the tape isn't animal-tested.
