Well, I wasn't able to solve Myst at all without the walkthrough (or perhaps didn't have enough patience too). So I used the walkthrough and moved through the game. Actually Myst is good. Nice graphics and cool story. Just, agreed, it's really hard to get along without the walkthrough.
