This post is really just a summary of what I noticed afer playing this game for some time - I donīt claim the information is right, but Iīm quite sure it works the way I explain things here:
Morals & sensitivity => reason for daughters running away:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Your daughterīs morals seen to determine the amount of stress she can take before getting angry at you. So morals seem to be an indicator of how egoistic / altruistic she is. In case of very high moral standings she can endure some serious hardship before getting upset. If she is angry at you, you can scold her (talking option). This will lower her stress value by a certain amount depending on how good your relationship is with your daughter. This is probably a rather nice option but I never get to use it, because my daughters usually have a very high sensitivity. She should get angry at you once her stress level is higher than her morals (or something like that). However, in case your daughter is a very sensitive type (sensitivity about as high as her morals or even higher) she will rather run away instead of carrying out the conflict openly with you (sheīs a whiner

). There are many ways of lowering her sensitivity: keeping the unicorn horn (event), keeping the spirit egg (event) or just by having her do some homework (quite effective: -2 / day), taking strategy lessons or choosing an appropriate job, etc.. But there are just as many ways to gain sensitivity which can really be a pain since itīs often a byproduct while doing something else. At least my daughters usually skyrocket in sensitivity while I donīt even want that to happen (except for the beginning maybe where it can be rather important but difficult to raise).
Constitution => job performance:
---------------------------------------
Job performance at itīs heart depends on the job your daughter is currently on. Cooking at the restaurant requires some basic cooking knowledge before you can actually turn out some profit, just like working at the mason or hairdresser require some artistic skill. These values cannot be seen anywhere but you will know at some point what skills are required to achieve a good basic job performance. But there is also some job performance determined by the amount of stress your daughter is exposed to currently. I believe the stress-limit is different for each job. Some rather easy jobs like housework or working at the church can be properly performed at high stress levels even, others like the hairdresser seem more difficult and require less stress. The overall limit can however be increased by raising her constitution. The tougher she is, the more stress she can take before failing in a job. This is mainly a problem in the beginning of the game, especially when your daughter is really weak (like 15 constitution). You may want to feed her better then or have her work a bit at the farm for some time. Money will be quite a problem though, so you may want to loot the treasure chests in the dungeons early on (just rest early enough and no monster will ever attack you - in case they do: first try to hide and then run away). As I already mentioned, if her stress is higher than her morals, she will also stop working / learning. So this can also affect job performance. Just send her to the church or have her work as a mentor (second choice though - decreases charisma & appears rather late in game) if you want to raise that limit. You may also want to choose a daughter with blood-type A (+2 morals each month). She will never laugh though since she also gets +2 stress each month (the serious type it seems). There is also a patron deity which increases her morals by 100 once she defeats the god of war. I think it was the one in march / april.
Endings => rather dependant on her best skill & reputation?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
This is something that really disturbs me. I have played the game about 10 times or so and I just get the feeling the most important thing in determining the ending is her highest ability. In case you had her visit the dancing fairies or win the art contest a few times (without selling the brushes) she will almost always end up as a writer / jester even though she was a fighter throughout the whole game and has a fighter reputation of 999 while her social reputation is only around 300 - 400. Once art is higher than a fighting ability you already lost her to the world of poems (while having a certain sensitivity value probably - but attributes generally seem to play a rather unimportant role in determining the ending). This is even true if she never had a poetry class. It also applies to some other values but maybe housework is turned down somehow. A reputation value seems only to be a limiting factor if it is below 300. Once it reaches 300 and above it seems to open up most possible branches and so her highest skill will determine the outcome. That is my observation at least but I am not completely sure about it. I could have tested it by cheating but I was just too lazy to do it. Some sites claim to know the exact values but I can tell all those I saw must have been wrong just by looking at the requirements for general and writer (main occupations for my daughters).
As I said Iīm unsure whether this information is correct. If you think Iīm mistaken just post your thoughts. :Titan:
