Great game its hard to believe this was made in 1989. I started playing this game when I was 9 years old and hardly could understand a word in English (luckily my dad was addicted to it) If you really like this game I recommend you get the amiga version and play it on a amiga emulator. Graphics and music are way better on it and you can also use a mouse.

Some tips I havent read so far:
-A hero can use magic when his intelligence is 80 or higher
-Wizards can only use magic when the weather is clouded
-Heroes have a chance to directly hit an enemy hero when their dexterity is above 82 and they need 60 to shoot
- Almost every action a hero makes will give him experience
- When you try to recruit a hero and he refuses you will lose popularity this is why there are bones (took me a while to find out)
- In the beginning divide your heroes you can send heroes to an emptry country and they will build it for you it might help to set orders to internal affairs. Just dont stack your heroes in 1 country since you can only use 1 every month. Also when 1 heroes works all the others will gain +5 body (so the ideal number of heroes to build a country is 3)
