Does windows tell you it's an unknown device, or not? If it does, it's a driver issue. If not, you might want to open the Disk Manager. We've had this problem at work where several drive-letters are mapped. The thumb-drive tried to take the same drive-letter (in this case G
and couldn't because it was allready taken. If your drive appears in the Disk Manager simply give it another letter.
