The big problem of creating artificially intelligent machines is that we do not know how natural intelligence works. Until we solve the problem of how natural intelligence arises from the blank slate of an insect egg (insects are not very intelligent, but they are more capable than anything we can build), we will not progress to AI.

Did you hear that the japanese built a fully sentient computer?
They asked it to optimise agricultural production in the Home Islands, but got the response "I don't eat rice.".

Be very careful what you ask for, as you just might get it.
