1. There's no age limit that I'm aware of, provided you have a good enough grasp of both English and the language you're planning to translate to. You're not getting anything in return, so it wouldn't exactly be child labour.
2. Recognition, a boost to your ego, a badge underneath your avatar and the ability to access the VIP section. If your question was what's in that section: that I'm not allowed to tell. But if you sign up and work for the site, you might find out for yourself.
