It's pretty much the same as having two CD-ROM drives, conceptually speaking. And you can transfer data between directly them. I remember my old 286 (1 Mb RAM, 40 Mb HDD, gray scale monitor) had two floppy drives, one 3'5'' and one 5'25''. I only used the latter once, with an installation disk which had come included with the machine--and I got the only virus I've ever got, a terrible flesh-eating one which erased the whole hard drive.[/b]
