Well, normally you would put the 3 keys into the Horadric Cube and activate it. This opens one of three portals. Which portal opens, is chosen randomly. (But thereīs a way to make sure, that you donīt get the same portal again and again.)
The problem is, that this quest only works in games in the Closed Battle.net. The keys also drop in Single Player, Network and Open Battle.net, but afaik they are absolutely useless.
