Hey troop18546, I'm reaching the 94...I've got 2.500.000.000 exp points...you need 3.500.000.000 to reach 99..
It's impossible to reach it in single player...
Gems and runes are useless...if you have a great set like Griswold or Immortal king use jewels.. make special combination with strong rare jewels..it's amazing...
But you have to work on it...because it's very difficult...
Example:
I've got this one:
+17%Damage
+1-61 Lightning damage
+33 Defense
+6Strenght
Or this..
+10 Min Damage
+9 Strenght
+2 Dex
+1Mana For each kill
And other...if you use them 2 or 3 times you can create combination...
The first one x3 is powerful than an Ohm+4Ort+Pul+2Fal...capito?(you have all that runes in 3 holes!)
