I don't see why someone couldn't set up an IRC channel. Whaddya think peeps?
EDIT: OK, I just read that other post. I don't see how an IRC channel would cause anyone to file a lawsuit against Abandonia. It would be easy enough to make the welcome message something like - "Welcome to #Abandonia. Please be respectful to other users. The management of
http://www.abandonia.com and
http://www.reloaded.org are in no way responsible for the content of this IRC channel, and the opinions stated here are those of the users, and are not necessarily supported by Abandonia management."
Or make it unofficial and make the welcome message "This channel is not affiliated in any official capacity with
http://www.abandonia.com or
http://www.reloaded.org or any part of the official Abandonia community"
Or something.
