We have no choice. I mean, we can choose between Commie-Hippie-Stuff who are always happy and have crazy ideas.... k: ...or American Conservatives who are always sad, talk about money all the time... :not_ok: *shudders*[/b]

I wasn't aware I had to stick to any one sect which strips me from my freedom, I thought I was free to choose what to do at any time, even entering a commune --I won't. You see, I'll do as if I hadn't learned this and I'll continue to do what I wish at every time, and see if I can get away with it. Wish me luck!

Music and ideology are two different things. I'm not saying they don't get related, but if I had to adhere to the ideas of every musician I like... Some of them tend to enjoy pretty stupid ones, you know.

That is so incredibly true. If I was taking everything these bands told me to do at face value, I'd be in one hell of a mess. Mixing music and ideology proved itself to be disasterous to music the 40's as far as I'm concerned. 60 years later a lot of people still have problems with this Wagner chap. Ok, so it was a bloated brick-head that put the ideology in there for him, but still: Music and ideology should be separated at all costs.
I still listen to bands like The Exploited, but their lyrics are just downright moronic. Give me mindless fun rock'n'roll any day, but spare me these preachers and missionaries. Even if I would agree, I resent being told what to think.
And UBCD: There are more than two camps out there, you know. One of them is your own.
