If there's a time to make a Watchmen film is now. Not because making films out of comics is the trendy thing, but because thank God the current trend is making them faithful to the original comic, after so many years of "oh I'm so very more clever than the original author, my sucessful-by-default movie will be so much better than his out-of-scratch best seller".
