I'm more of a dog's person myself, but my brother has cats.
In fact the one on your sholder reminds me of his first cat. Unfortunatelly a car killed her when she went off eploring the neighbourhood. He immediately got two other cates that had 10 kittens so the whole familly got stuck with cute furrballs (I still lived with the parents back then and grandma has her share of them too).
Did you train her to come to your shoulder or did she just start doing it on her own?
