There is no easy/quick solution to this issue. The earlier we introduce a system the less old posts we have to work through. To read the new posts is the main task of a moderator, so he can easily pin a new important one. And you don't have to rush all old posts in one day (Abandonia was not built in a day, to alter a known proverb LOL ) - of course the quicker the better to avoid as many new posts to known/discussed/solved problems as possible.
