Interesting. Can you specify a bit how you feel it different?[/b]
I haven't gone by all the building costs or anything, if that's what you mean :P
It's just that at times you notice that your expectations about some recources are sometimes a bit off, or that some economic balance achieved in Settlers 2 doesn't apply to 10th Anniversary.

Why shouldn't you play Settlers 2? I see no reason not too. But if you want a different experience with the same gameplay, then 10th Anniversary is a choice you can make. It's as simple as that.

Originals are almost always better...[/b]
This is original, just different :P
Saying Settlers 2 is better then 10th is, imho, nostalgic nonsense. They're the same in almost everything that's made Settlers 2 a good game, gameplay wise. The only thing that's substantially different is in the way it is presented to you. The style which it has. I can imagine a preference for one or the other, but to say that one is better?
Just so you know the 3D isn't even unwieldy. You can zoom in, look around, whatever. You don't have to. Zoom out, and the view is pretty much the same as in Settlers 2. That's the way I usually play.
