I totally agree about the CD-ROM, it is just so much better with voices.
I got myself a copy of eBay a while ago.
By the way, in case it was not mentioned, make sure you have the latest version (there is a an official patch floating around) otherwise the game might crash as you try to leave the castle you teleport to in the begining.
This game is really amazing, even though fighting is tedious, the story line is awesome: from the book shackled in the tree, the demon under the sea, and so on.
If you get tired from the fighting, and you find yourself spending too much time waiting around to heal, cheating is always an option
makes life easier and also get access to some spells that are impossible to find.
