If anyone wants to play this game nowdays you may need the basic package of RPG maker 2000:
RPG maker 2000 (3.42mb)
RTPe for RPG maker 2000 (11.4mb)
Font patch (110 kb)
You can get all at this site (

which is quite good and has been recommended also in the past in this same thread.
You install first the RPG maker 2000,
secondly the RTPe
and finnally the font patch.
REBOOT YOUR COMPUTER.
Then go for the game,
I highly recomend that you download the latest version of the game from the original site
http://www.velv.net
the latest version is v2.5 (until now) and for this version you don't need anything else different than the
"FFEN_V2.5.rar" file. (5.5 mb)
Extract the file of the game on any folder you choose, and run the executable (.exe file).
