It completely depends on what tutorial.
It is not that hard to teach someone to use iso images, but IMHO it should be advanced topic. (same as how to make ISO backups of your games etc.) It was never added to my tutorial, as I never completed advanced part and front end part.
I might go back and complete it, finally.
